help with TV Picture Problem
I am house sittig for a friend and I accidently messed up their Tv. It is a Sony Trinitron Tv with three butons below the screen. One of them is Power and I used it with no trouble to shut the tv off. The next night by accident I hit the chanel up button beside the power button and now the screen is all distorted (Like when you try to watch a Pay per view Movie without paying and you get that screen that is fuzzy and skips etc) They have a Rogers Digital Cable Box and three remotes for diffeent machines hooked up to the TV (Digital box, DVD /VCR Combo and TV remote) and I can't figure out how to get it working.

When you pressed Channel Up, you changed the "input" of the TV. Find the remote control that goes to the TV itself. There should be a button that says "A/V" or "Input" or they may be labeled independently "AV1, AV2, COMP1," etc. Just change the input until you see picture (make sure the cable box is on of course).

Press the Channel Down Button.
The TV needs to be returned to the correct input channel, normally 3, or, 4,
or phone Rogers for help, 1-866-Rogers1, |

This doesn't really apply to most TV's nowadays... unless the cable box is connected to the TV via coaxial cable (instead of composite video or S-video or Component - which is generally standard). |
Can someone help me?
My TV at home has AV2 in the top corner, in ugly green letters. How can I get rid of it? |
