It's practically legal here in Denver. Within the city limits, you can have up to an ounce with virtually no criminal ramifications. Get pulled over and you have a bag of weed in your pocket? No big deal if it's less than an ounce.

On top of that - we have legalized medical marijuana state-wide. Anyone can get this stuff - there are dispensaries EVERYWHERE and many of them have doctors on staff. Got a backache? HIV+? Just had lasik and your eyes hurt? Sunburn? Sprain your ankle? Depressed? Cat got your tongue? Just walk in and the doctor on staff will be happy to write you a prescription. You have to pay the State $90 for it, and it allows you to grow up to 6 plants or purchase from that dispensary, or others associated with it. Oh, and if you don't like to smoke it - you can buy lollipops, banana walnut muffins - even tubs of butter infused with weed to spread on your bread. :lol:

If you're really ambitions, you can go to the State and and for $150ish dollars, you can get a growers license and grow weed for people who have prescriptions, but don't have the fortune of a green thumb.
