Tweet Stevie Your Letters

So as you all know, Stevie posted a hand-written letter on the Nicks Fix in response to all the hoopla over twitter. Anyway, Erik has this great idea that we post hand-written letters to Stevie and @reply them to Dave Stewart so he can show them to her! Tweet away my little tweet-birds!

This is a great idea! I think she'd get a kick out of it...get to work everybody. :)

Great idea! I'm sure Stevie would appreciate the hand written aspect of it, since she' s so non-tech friendly.lol!
I'll have to come up with some fancy stationary to write mine on!

Maybe it would be a nice idea to tweet Dave first and ask him if he would mind before his twitter account gets flooded with scans of hand written letters to Stevie?

I was thinking the same thing. I have been noticing that a lot of Stevie fans are flooding Dave with Stevie related stuff and don't get me wrong, I understand everyone's excitement level here, but he might get annoyed pretty fast if a majority of his twitter feed is Stevie related and not related to his projects or his new solo album. We gotta show Dave our support of his stuff too to balance it all out in my opinion.

He is great for opening this conduit between Stevie and the fans (with Stevie's approval of course). But I am sure Dave meant this to be more of a way to release approved info to Stevie's fans rather than us flooding him with Stevie requests of different kinds. I am just sayin'... He has appeared to be gracious so far, but you never know that could change if we all overwhelm him with Stevie stuff.

No kidding. Stevie's fans are notoriously insane, and will all send about a dozen letters each... per day. I don't think it's fair to back Dave into that corner, instead we should just enjoy the info he gives us of his own volition. Seriously, y'all... don't bite the hand that feeds you.

I soo agree~people need to lay low or he'll end up thinking we're all nuts...and we might lose the special connection we found~ Don't over do it or he might shut down. Be grateful for the little bit he's already given...We don't want him to cringe when he sees our tweets. They're very busy...lets not have the new Stevie single be FU!...lol...JK guys;)

i would recommend just starting a facebook page with the handwritten letters, then when enough are posted there, send the link to dave--only once. and say that new letters maybe updated in the future so Stevie or her peeps should check the link to see more in the future.

That sounds like a good idea:)

Yes, that sounds like an excellent alternative.

I agree with others and think it's a bad idea even though fans mean well. It might ruin his kindness to share with us these little tidbits. Not to mention they're very busy I'm sure.

Totally in favor of the FB group- let's do it!!

@BlueDenimLamp that's interesting idea ;)

Hello I didn't mean to stir the pot with this...But I thought hand written "Tweets" might catch Stevie's eye...Anyhow I have also contacted Mr. Kinney at the Nicks Fix to see if they might accept scanned letters for Stevie...Perhaps Karen can access the account and show them to Stevie:wavey:

Sad to say it, but if she's not answering your cyberspace stuff on "Ask Stevie," I doubt she'll answer this way either. Stevie got to be in the mood, otherwise it feels like "work." Lindsey's Q&A via video/YouTube was brilliant, and probably a great way for Stevie to answer questions from fans. It would be better to hear her answer live, and be able to hear her expression.
