Wild Heart Survivor Sudden Death

I noticed that we never did finish Wild Heart survivor. Apparently, Ledgies have attention spans about equal to Stevie's. :D

Wild Heart v. Nightbird!

It's a hard one for me as I personally prefer both the Rolling Stone photoshoot Wild Heart and the SNL/Solid Gold Nightbird to their album counterparts.

But seeing as how early Wild Heart is significantly different from the album version, and it's the early version I prefer, I will give my support to Nightbird!

'Nightbird' ;)

It has occurred to me that we never had a tie-breaker round but never thought to bump it so thanks for doing this and then let's move on to RAL. Nightbird all the way baby!!!!!!!!!

Alright- another close one!!! :)

Musicman408 07-22-2010 07:59 PM

Come on- vote for Nightbird!!!

'Oh, hell to the no', to totally quote Whitney circa 2002.
'Wild Heart' simply cannot lose to 'Nightbird'. It's too close for comfort even.
Kids kids, play them back to back. 'Wild Heart' has got to be one of the top 5 vocals Stevie has ever recorded in her life.
The castinettes (castin-yettes?) in 'Nightbird' annoy me! Cheesy! The song is not cheesy, just them there castenetts.
****, still a red line under it. Hang me out to dry, b*tches! "Mister Longwinded can't spell castynettes. "
I'm from Prague, mofos! I'm 31 days into detox. And now 'Nightbird' is gaining on 'Wild Heart'.
GO TO HELL :) And I can't spell m**herf***ing 'castenyettes!
I don't like the 'do-dooent-do-do's" in Nightbird either. It's Stevie-light. "Wild Heart" is Stevie wild. Vote for Wild Heart.
(Between Stand Back and Nightbird, there sure were a lot of 'do-dos' on that album!)
"Aht-ah!"

lah-lah-lah-lah-lah-lah-lah-luh-lah- lah-lah-lah-lah/Do-do. Do-do

Oh, wrong song. But Nightbird just seems too derivative of a bunch of better Stevie songs watered down into one song of less quality. But everyone seems to love 'Nightbird', so love it. But it ain't no freakin 'Wild Heart', no way, no how!
Of-course, this is all just faux-feverish rage, not serious a bit. My love to all you b*tches who disagree with me.
Besides, no way 'Wild Heart' will lose :)

I like them both but...........Nightbird is in my Stevie top 5.

carrie721 07-23-2010 12:47 AM

if we're speaking strictly about studio versions ... wild heart.

but SNL nightbird is amazing and, essentially, soft porn.

I know, right? Nobody would've complained! And if those rumors are true, it's nothing they hadn't already done!
