Heart's Red Velvet Car
 

I wanted to see how many people are excited for the new Heart Album Red Velvet Car coming out August 31. I've been listening to the youtube recordings of songs and downloaded their new ep WTF and I'm amazed how they still sound like Heart. They never have seem to lost their signature sound except for the 80's but who didn't. The new songs remind a lot of Dog and Butterfly era heart. Especially "Safronia's Mark" and the wonderful "Sand".

Has anyone else been keeping up on them?

I am so excited for the new Heart CD. I just wish it was coming out this month!! I am going to see them in Pittsburgh on August 6th for the first time so I cannot wait. It should be a great show.
I really like the new song WTF. It sounds like classic Heart to me! I am also looking forward to the new Sheryl Crow as well.

Love them, they are one of my favorite bands! Definitely can't wait for the new album, I got the WTF Ep as well and it rocks. So excited to hear the other songs on the album and the studio versions of the songs on YT. :)

Yes, count me in as looking forward to their CD. And I wish it were coming out this month, too. I'm going to see them next month in Atlantic City, & I can't wait. :thumbsup:

Same here - I can't wait for Heart's Red Velvet Car to be released! WTF ROCKS! I'm catching the tour stop at Foxwoods in CT!

I already pre-ordered it for 8 bucks! Looking forward to it, especially from the 2 tracks I have already heard.

When you pre-ordered, where did you do it from? I was just checking Amazon and found out if you did it from Amazon uk. You get two additional tracks not on the US version.

Oh really? It was on amazon.com (US). I might cancel the order now and hope that iTunes gets the bonus tracks (which they usually do).

Yes I am waiting patiently for the new album, it seems a very long wait though :(

Yeah I can't wait for it either.....love Heart stuff!!!:) ****I just got tickets today for them at DTE here in Michigan for the Sept 3 rd show....I so can't wait for this either & there new cd!!! :)

omg i just heard Hey You the other day and i love it. its my new favorite song. i almost forgot what a beautiful voice nancy has. i found a live version of the song on youtube from a recent show and it was amazing!!
