Officially Unemployed - eek!!
 

Hey guys,

I've been absent from The Ledge (well, posting less frwquently than normal!) lately because I've been desperately looking for a full time job to start when my current part time one ends today. This is because the phD thesis is now written and I need something full time when not studying. I need to be able to carry on paying the bills!

Anyway, nothing has come up yet even though I am registered with loads of temp agencies and am scouring all jobs ads like some kind of demon. I just need something clerical while I look for the first academic job.

Nothing yet - and my p/t job is finished! For the first time in 12 years I have no job - scary!! Keep everything crossed for me guys.

Of course, the main reason I posted this is to WARN you that now I have no job I plan to laze around quite frequently and so I may start posting so much random crap on here....haha.

My fingers are crossed that you can get a job soon. :D
