Little Fish

I want you guys to check out this band! They're from Cambridge here in the UK and they're currently supporting Blondie on their Endangered Species Tour.

Debbie Harry scouted them while they were opening for the UK leg of the last Hole tour and invited them to support Blondie.

We caught up with Juju and Ben after the Blondie gig in Manchester and they're really awesome down to earth people. I'd HIGHLY reccomend you buying their Darling Dear EP for £1.99 off iTunes. There's also a free download of their Baffled and Beat track on the website and the album (of the same name) is availible to pre-order from Amazon due out in September!

Personally, I'd describe Juju as a mini Patti Smith and the sound as having the same wall as The Ramones. Their songs are really catchy and rock-y. It's rare that I fall for a new band like these guys but they've got some seriously great stuff.

While waiting outside for Blondie to emerge for photos and autographs I told Juju that she reminded me of Patti Smith, prompting her to hug me so tight that I thought my head would explode. She's a really cool, down to earth girl and someone I really enjoyed talking to. By the time we'd got to them, they had sold out of their CD singles so she handed me a Demo CD saying
"We got signed off this... you can have it. Here, let me sign it. Keep hold of it, when we're famous it'll be worth a mint ;)"

Yours truly looking a fine mess after the gig.

Pretty cool Blondie Jr.
She does have a little
Pattie Smith vibe. You
look happy in the photo.
