Just Bought "Fleetwood Mac: 25 Years The Chain"

So I go out clothes shopping today at the mall, but first take a detour into the FYE store. I ramble through their FM CD's curious about their offerings and what do I find? You guessed it - "Fleetwood Mac: 25 Years The Chain." It's a used copy, missing the 2nd disc, but for $30 didn't sound bad. I checked for "Love Shines" - it's there!! Great!

The had 4 or 5 other used and new CD's including the Behind the Mask, and Tango in the Night albums. I pointed out the missing 2nd disc to the cashier. He said they recently bought some used CD's from somebody and that probably the 2nd disc was damaged, not working. Luckily the only song I didn't already have from that disc (that I like) is "Save Me."

Wait until you discover all the remixed songs that don't indicate they are remixed and are, and some of the songs that say they are a remix only to find out they are not. I swear Mick and Lindsey were totally wasted when they put this thing together. The best tracks are the newer ones: Paper Doll, Love Shines, Make Me A Mask, Heart Of Stone and the remix of Tusk.

Heart Of Stone should have been the single. As Sue would say, "a missed oppurtunity."

Aw, that sounds seriously awesome. I have never gotten a box set like that for any band, but now I wish that one was still in print.

You can still find new (unopened) copies of 25 Years The Chain and Stevie's boxset Enchanted at Amazon.com.

Love 25 years...Heart Of Stone is just amazing, along with Love Shines.

Maybe you could get that and an NES for my birthday in August :p

Isn't the longer version of "Gypsy" on Disc 2? It's one of my favorites.

Heart of Stone and Love Shines are 2 of my "new" favorite FM songs! :D

I think it is, but this used set I bought didn't have Disc #2. :(
