White Widow has recently covered Lady From The Mountain.

How cool that of all songs out there, they chose to cover this. Very neat.

Upon first listen it was too dark and depressing but after giving it several listens I absolutely love it! I don't necessarily think it has what it takes to be an international hit but for me personally it's art in it's truest form (not to mention it's paying homage to our goddess). I'm going to keep listening and ad my thoughts...

Thanks for the post. The RAL demo of Lady from The Mountain is my favorite Stevie song ever, so I was a bit worried to hear a cover. I do like it, I think it's good. But I wish they used more of Stevie's lyrics in the song. They cut too many of them out...and the amazing lyrics and lyrical delivery is what I love so much about the original.

Musics alright... Its so far removed from the original, that if I didn't know what the song was I wouldn't have liked it at all... But it's cool that someone took an old demo and redid it.

God how I dream of doing that!

I love LFTM, especially the RAL demo. This is actually pretty cool, I like it a lot.
