Very Interesting Google Search
 

So I'm doing a Google search to see if there might be any pictures of Stevie online that I might have missed and find something that really caught my eye....actually, both of them. If you google the following, "Slam Online The Storm Is Over" you will find an orbit for a guy named Norm Van Lier. If any of you live in Chicago or are a big fan of the Bulls, you will know who this guy was. He played basketball for the Bulls in the 70's and was a longtime broadcaster in Chicago. Well, he passed away last year and according to this tribute, he dated Stevie. Really? News to me but the guy who wrote this tribute was a real good friend of his. Anybody ever hear about this?

They probably met up at one of the infamous late 70's WLUP parties and did lines together or something. I can't imagine it was anything significant.

Partied with? Yeah, probably. Dated?? I doubt it. Something about that doesn't ring true. :shrug:

speaking of Google searches.I found this site of archived Stevie photos.all from the News sites.Alot of them from Stevie's DVD signing in New York.some from Rock and roll hall a fame,Blockbuster awards too.

Yeah, I agree with you on this. They prob partied together in the 70's, maybe hooked up a time or two but I doubt they "dated". The writer used the word dated so that's what I put in my post. Besides is there anybody who didn't party with Stevie in the 70's?
