Well this is a huge shock. Not! Interestingly enough, Pat Benatar will be there the night before. I wonder if they'll cross paths- they were like the Hatfields and McCoys back in the early 80's as far as the "Queen of Rock" title was concerned. I wonder whether they would be catty or friendly...

Anyway, the setup at Turning Stone looks frightening. It looks like seating is arranged around dinner tables! I mean, WTF? Will she be performing while people are stuffing their faces with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob? This sounds utterly surreal... and not in a good way. Perhaps tickets are so cheap because they have a meal or drink minimum at the door? If she doesn't go for the high notes in "Rhiannon," are people going to throw chicken bones at her?

No, no, no. She is not playing in the "Showroom" (Where Pat Benatar IS playing) Stevie is playing in the Event Center again, which is a 5,000 seat venue.

There better be a NYC or Boston date (or somewhere in between) on or after 8/29. That's all I'm sayin'

If she is going to Las Vegas, she better hurry on the dates.those places are probably all booked up by now with other entertainers.so far these three current casino shows are one night stands.I wonder if she have a another 4 night stand in Las Vegas this time around.

According to the Turning Stone site, Stevie is playing the Showroom, an 800 seat "cabaret style" venue.

Seems hard to believe she would be booked there and not in the
Event Center, but I wouldn't mind seeing her in such an intimate venue.

nailatixela 05-08-2010 09:53 AM

This is strange. Nickslive had the info with her playing at their event center, but she is under the list of artists at the Showroom:

Stevie Nicks

Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 8pm

Showroom
(Classic Rock)
$80/90/100

*Tickets will go on sale Saturday, May 15 at 10am

Why would she be playing at only an 800 seater?

If she's really playing at a 800 seats venue than that's just tragic, I can't believe she would accept it either.

Last year FM played in the Hamptons in a tent for @ 600 people, it was far from tragic !

Only difference is that tix at the Hamptons were $ 1500 per, not the $ 100 or so per at Turning Stone

I think we will all find out that the show will wind up in the 5000 seat venue !

Then again to see Stevie in a 800 seat theatre for $100 is a real deal !

Hawkeye 05-09-2010 10:42 PM

Definitly going to this. In addition to seeing Stevie, I cant wait to go to what I consider to be the best buffet I've ever been to at the turning stone casino.

If she is, it's official, she is a has-been. Yuck.
