So how was Casey James able to borrow one of Lindsay Buckingham's guitars to jam with on stage to "Don't Stop"? It all comes down to being nice to the "Idol" crew. "I'm friends with one of the guys that's working on sound, Dennis, and he worked for Fleetwood Mac for a long time and Lindsay Buckingham gave him that guitar," he explained. "Then, you know, I played it like weeks ago, just messing around. So when I picked the song I was like, 'Oh can I play that guitar?' and he said, 'Yeah.'"

He played a Turner 1 onstage? :shocked:

I knew it was something like this and not Casey personally getting handed a guitar by LB. Nice spin, Casey!

And no, it wasn't a Turner. I forget exactly what model it was but it's mentioned in the thread about Casey in the Rumours forum.

It was a Roy Rogers guitar.

Well, that's the writer or interviewer's fault. :shrug:

I dont get it... I've never seen Lindsey play that guitar... so I'm not sure how the link is really made. Does Lindsey own that guitar? :shrug:

Maybe Lindsey gave Dennis a guitar he has never, ever used. Michele
