Those mansfield shows were fun (saw 1 and 3). The band was fired up after having two weeks off because Christine was on bereavement leave for the loss of a parent (her Dad, if I remember correctly). Stevie in the mini-skirt started in the back of my mind with a war cry (does anyone have a recording of the war cry?). Her sound guys were putting a dreadful echo on her vocals back then, seeing this video reminded me of that. She had such little breath behind her voice I think they felt in necessary to create a mock vibrato. She didn't have the dullness in her eyes like she did 5 months later (ridiculously long tour). The band got way more rollicking as the night when on. Rhiannon, Everywhere, and Gold Dust Women were all done very well, as I recall. Dreams, just like in the video, was pretty dreadful.

Thank you for posting these. I lived in Massachusetts at the time but I never knew there were three shows scheduled there. I went to see them in Hartford, Connecticut.
