Any guesses as to what the ending lyrics are? Not the "people out there turning music into gold" but the stuff in between. Here's the lyrics transcribed in order and my offbeat guesses...

i have no clue, but thought it was funny you brought up this song, i was just listening to it last night~

well joe, i think what you have is correct. But that last one may be "dusty gold"....

I always thought Stevie was singing, "I say!" or "I said!" where others are hearing "Dusty".

That's how I've always heard it as. I love this song though!

You know until this post and for the past 30 years I've always thought Stevie was saying "Yes they...." as in "yes they are (turning music into gold)". But maybe it is dusty!!!
