Any rumours about Lindsey's plans?

I am so frustrated by the fact that the Mac have squandered their rekindled chemistry (it was THERE; I FELT it!) to move onto solo projects after their Unleashed tour.

We know Mick will be touring (and possibly recording?) with the Blues Band. Good for him.

Stevie is ruining my life by recording some songs with the (yes, talented) Dave Stewart.

I trust John is fishing.

So what of Lindsey? Undoubtedly, he's being a good family man (getit?), and he's probably at least playing around in the studio, working on new songs.

But has there been any word on his plans for these 18 months?

He could easily do another solo album. . .

Well I know stevie has said she's not interested in doing this without Chris, but who the hell knows what she's thinking;) I desperately want another solo album from Lindsey. After Gift of Screws I want more.

Mick

When did Stevie say that? Last I heard, she was talking up the need for one more kick a** Mac album. But she does change her stories. . . just seems weird to bring up Chris AFTER the tour (I recall she was saying that BEFORE the tour).

Oh cool then I'm out of the loop. Well this brightened my day. I do hope at least ONE more album happens:thumbsup:

Mick

And she was saying that before the tour. So who really knows. lol

They're absolutely impossible to predict, even when they say they'll do X, Y or Z. We're still left with nothing but our speculation  So I choose to be optimistic -- they could do anything!

just bumping this in the hopes somebody out there has some dish

Anyone heard anything about him recording during the "Unleashed Tour" would love another album like "Under the Skin"

TrueFaith77 04-25-2010 11:48 AM

just conjecture: i fear he may sit on any material until the Mac thing is worked out so as to ensure the widest possible audience.

he needs to get his peeps tweeting on any upcoming projects. i'm in Lindsey withdrawal!

Don't know how true it is, but there's a rumor going around that
Lindsey and Kristen are writing a book about coffee tables.

I agree. Stevie is doing solo stuff so Lindsey will have time to get another solo album out before the Mac starts up again for more nostalgia. I guess it's possible he could be working on it right now and we wouldn't know. We hear about Stevie doing it because she has outside collaborators but Lindsey will just be sitting in his studio on his lonesome, tinkering away. Hopefully some of his tinkering will make it out as a new album.

I forgot to mention on the review copy I received, the book
actually has legs that fold out so that it turns into coffee table.
Might they release it to the general public like that......who knows?
