It's cool, though, that she looked good in it, if it was a wig, and she doesn't seem to do it a lot, unlike some stars who do nothing but wear wigs that generally are so fake looking that they take on a clown-like appearance and somehow look very aged, despite cosmetic surgery.
So, I think Stevie did it right-Stevie still looked like Stevie, but it was a nice, softer look for her. You're right, it was 'Timespace' era, and she also sang 'Love's A Hard Game To Play' in a different dress, and perhaps a different wig, I can't remember. But it's on YouTube which is easier than going through all the dozens of VHS Nicks footage I collected for decades.
(Don't hide behind whoever's Hair...)...on the 'Unleashed' tour concert I saw in Connecticut in 2009, I took a men's room break and then waited up in an aisle in the 'bad seats' section for a song to end before walking back down to the floor seat I had- I didn't notice the following at all from down front, but from half-way up the theater, I could see the top of Stevie's head, which was brilliantly lit in gold- and starting from the crown of her head, it definitely, definitely, looked like she had extensions sewn into her own hair down the length of it all, it was a completely different texture and didn't look real. But it looked pretty.
She was 60, it might make sense that she had some fake hair added so she wouldn't have to spend an hour with blow-dryers and styling products. This was only my opinion, I don't think anyone else during the entire tour mentioned that Stevie had any fake hair mixed in with her own silky-straight. It's not a putdown, she looked beautiful, and of course, I could be wrong.
But, I've never seen the top of any human's head have such perfectly filled-out hair of another texture mixed in with what was her own hair. I won't swear by it if others insist that the hair was all Stevie's own, but I gotta say, from my vantage point, she was partially 'Weevie Nicks'.... And so what. She mostly sounded excellent*, and she looked really good.
*Her performance of 'Gypsy' was...bad.**
(** in my opinion, in case anyone else loved it!)
