Other Side Of The Mirror Tour '89 - Toronto

Long satin coats with enormous shoulder pads, gravity defying hair (mostly covered during this show by goofy hats), and the debut of Stevie's most controversial footwear...the frankenboks. Yes folks...we have arrived on the other side of the mirror...in Toronto! :D

This is actually a pretty good show as far as this tour goes...although it's by no means a GREAT show like the last 2 I posted. We have a somewhat rare performance of Juliet which is fabulous, a rare (for this tour) performance of Talk To Me, a very nice version of Edge with Stevie shaking her booty for the crowd at the end, and the most BORING version of Stand Back I've seen to date. I'm usually the first person to say there is no bad version of Stand Back but this one is a total snoozefest.

Enjoy folks!
Tim

I love Alice, Juliet, and Talk to Me!!!!

Mini skirt on Whole Lotta Trouble!

As for the show, she sounds ok, but literally is not moving, which is unfoutunate!!!

Thank you so much for this show. Quality is not to bad and it's great to see something from TOSOTM. Keep 'em coming. :)

edit: I can't find Juliet...am I blind? I don't see it posted here.

This is great, thanks. Itīs really completely different than Rock a little tour. But I donīt think that some tour was better than the other one. She was crazy in ī86 because of cocain, here she is sleepy because of klonopin... itīs simple. But there is always something perfect on both. Her voice here in ī89 was definitely better. And I love her in mini-skirts :), she looks great!!! I hope I will find sime time to watch this all new stuff early.

And is there any video like this from Tango or BTM tour? Except official TAngo video I have never seen any live concert video from Tango tour. And I saw a few videos with bad quality from BTM tour. You know, I love this period, it would be great if someone post some FM stuff from this time too :).

If AliceLover sends me the Iowa Tango show I will be more than happy to upload it here. ;)

I have 2 shows from BTM...Las Vegas and Meadowlands, NJ. Vegas is already on DVD but I will have to convert NJ which is fine because I need a DVD copy of that as well. I have a couple more Stevie solo shows to post but then I will switch gears to Mac shows.

Hey Tim, I haven't forgotten about you!

I would say The Meadowlands is prob a better show, mainly for the quality. Vegas has lots of drop outs.

Quite a difference from '86 to '89.

And when was The Meadowlands show? I canīt find the date. Las Vegas show had to be great, because it was in June... Stevie get worse later. But the Meadowlands show was before Europe part, or after?

The Meadowlands show was 7/24. It is still a great show. Stevie opens in her black mini and then changes into the white shirt for the rest of the show. I know on GYOW she almost trips over an amp and falls. Rhiannon, Everywhere, and SB are great highlights from the show!

Tim, thank you for taking the time to do this for us here on The Ledge. It's so rare to see this kind of stuff from OSOTM tour! I love it. If this is going to be a series of videos from all tours (Enchanted etc) then thank you SO MUCH in advance!
