Lindsey Buckingham - Guitar Lesson Part 2 by LB
|
This is part of a whole DVD/interview from Guitar World Magazine. He also shows us how to play Big Love and Landslide, and two online videos showing us NGBA and World Turning (WT was discussed here a while back). Great stuff.

Thanks for posting that.
I've been playing it as the second version he demonstrated. Never heard the first version. |

Taylor Locke and the Roughs have a Q & A on their website and this is how they answered one of the questions as to which guitars they use on their recordings and why:
http://www.tlatr.com/?p=901&utm_sour...of-the-week-23 -ned’s “homeless guy” piece of **** acoustic strung up to “nashville tuning”. this is a technique i love! lindsay buckingham of fleetwood mac does this often. u take the very thin high octave strings from a 12 string, and put them on a 6 string guitar. we have done some subtle background layering with this sound, but it is featured prominently on hourglass. together with a regular 6 string acoustic, we created the sounded of the main guitar figure that opens the song.ned was kind enough to let us designate his acoustic as our full time nashville strung guitar. |
