Susan Boyle sparked complaints from travelers on Tuesday after she reportedly began singing into a mop in a bizarre scene at London's Heathrow Airport.

The Scottish singing sensation was said to have stunned travelers by dancing and belting out songs into a mop head in a first-class lounge while awaiting a British Airways flight to Chicago, Ill. to film a segment on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Airline crew later asked the star to quiet down after she began shouting obscenities, according to Britain's The Sun.

A source tells the newspaper, "It was chaos. Susan was very restless and agitated from the minute she walked in and immediately started making a scene. She was singing and dancing around, shouting obscenities at full volume."

A spokesperson for British Airways confirms, "A customer in the BA lounge on Tuesday was asked to temper their behavior as it was becoming disruptive."

Boyle was forced to dismiss reports about her fragile mental health in November after she was spotted sobbing and sucking her thumb following a performance in New York. She was famously admitted to London's Priory clinic in May suffering from exhaustion, just days after she was voted runner-up on U.K. TV show "Britain's Got Talent."

I was all "meh" until I got to the part about shouting obscenities. :laugh:

It's just not right to put a person with metal issues through such pressure. People would do anything for money. And guys, Susan Boyle is just not that good singer, really. She sings good, but if it didn't made such a big contrast with her looks, no one would notice.

Well, she does sing good, but she is far from amazing. It's just amplified by the fact that she looks pretty bad. I highly doubt that if the combination was different she would reach the success she did.

Oh please, she's just a media whore. The whole "I've never been kissed" and "nervous breakdown" were just publicity stunts :rolleyes:. Anyone who pays that woman any mind is a complete chump.

I know... I'm just cranky today. I'm so sick of all of the media sensationalism that has become so prevalent this past decade. All of these people who are stars for the sake of being stars. All of the publicity stunts. It just really grates me. I should have been alive in the '20s or something instead :laugh:.

All the contestants on "American Idol" are media whores. They are all exhibitionists, & so are all the participants of all those "reality" TV shows. They all crave the attention, even if it's negative. They're addicts. As for their enormous audience, perhaps that's a topic for another thread.

Did you ever notice how all the kids on every season of "The Real World" don't get real jobs? They all "work in film" or "work in music" (never in jazz or classical or folk, mind you, just hip-hop) or "work in DA BIZ" (which generally means they answer the phones in the office). They're a bunch of talentless, brainless, & charmless dolts, the lot.

That's why they're popular!
