Only one I have is on the "Live" CDs from the Tusk tour which are still commercially available as far as I know.

The only version I have ever heard is from the 1980 dual-LP live album.

Meowi 01-04-2010 06:37 PM

Hmm,
Maybe its just that its from a live CD
I am really fussy

mylittledemon 01-04-2010 06:45 PM

Well ... they only performed it live. I don't think there was a studio track ever cut..?

Plus, the 1980 Dual CD set really needs to be remastered ;)

What are the meaning of these lyrics? I've seen discussion before... Would like to re-open to Stevie fans.. and such..

Thanks.. and Happy New Year's to you bunch of fun people!!

I think the song is clearly about the 5 of them (the band) sticking it out and staying together... come what may. :o

I always thought that when I listened to it... but i thought it was just my crazy romantic imagination..

Then I remember long ago some discussion on that...

I guess you can pick it apart all day... it may mean something other than that... but I don't recall ever reading anything by Stevie as saying otherwise.

It wasn't never performed in a concert set list. It was, however, one of several new songs prepped for inclusion on the Live album. It is live --but it had a lot studio sweetning. "Some call it a nightmare - my five fireflies" It was also released as a single, with a different mix.
