I was listening to some Stevie outtakes and swearing and such, heheh, and she mentions she wants a "toot" on 2 occasions. Excuse my ignorance, but what IS a toot!? I'm assuming it's either a joint, some coke or a fart. LMAO.

Oh dear. Did I sound stupid in my question?! Lol. Oh well. I don’t mind. Best to sound naïve and dumb than to never know, eh?

It’s not as if I haven’t lived, at age 31. lol. I’ve done some “tooting” myself, but just didn’t really know it was called that, heheh. I myself used to call it “snow cheese”. It’s a long and weird story, but once my partner was reading a menu at a restaurant and mistakenly said “snow cheese” instead of “snow peas”…so ever since, it’s this silly joke we have…and that’s what I used to call tooting.

I also had my own expression for smoking pot. My best friend and I would call it “sweeping”. I don’t know why this was. Something to do with soot and chimneys and smoke I presume. Lol. Chimney sweep. *weirdo*

Oh I just remembered in the song Bad Girls by Donna Summer, she sings, "toot toot, haaaa beep beep!"( then you hear whistles)

Ehh, I was born the same year Mirage was released, and I knew what a "toot" was. Just depends on how worldly you are I suppose.

I figured it had something to do with drugs, I just wasn't sure which one! Of course, being someone who has never 'tooted', snorted, shot up,or toked, I can be a little clueless about the terms. I think I'm too much of a 'goody-goody' for my own good!:angel::laugh:

I can so relate, though, because I usually have no idea what people are talking about when they talk about all the drugs that are out there these days that we didn't have twenty or thirty years ago!
