A Stevie song for all occasions

Right now I'm about to start getting ready for my office Christmas party. I don't really want to go, but MEH. What can ya do? I gotta get my evening gown type dress on, spray tan happening, make up and hair...

Anyway, last year I did the same thing for the office party, and also throughout last year whenever I was getting ready to go out somewhere, I'd always, ALWAYS put on Angel. I don't know why, but this song just makes me boppy and more in the mood to actually go out. (I'm pretty much a boring old biddy who doesn't like going out on the town much, lol)

Do you have a Stevie song that you always play to get in the mood for something, or as a routine song you play whenever doing a certain thing, or to get you through something difficult?

For years in college my wake up song was Touched By An Angel... I had to listen to it before leaving my dorm in the morning :). Brings back such good memories...

My song when I need to get my self energized and feisty (usually before going out on the town, to a dreaded day at work, or to a Homeowners meeting ) is the Mirage version of Sisters Of The Moon. It's definitely my pump up song... but it's really all purpose. Something about the insanity of the song just centers me... hell, I'd probably play it on the way to a funeral! It's just Stevie/Mac goodness wrapped up in a coked up drunken ass high charging package! :D

Either Angel, Stop Draggin, or Blue Denim, or Mac's Ricky - it's odd and different but i love it.

How proactive of you! A little more self loving could have kept that song from ever being made.

I like to listen to the Yokohama, Japan Tusk tour stop version of Rhiannon before I get ready to go out with someone. There's nothing sexier than the way she sang the "and wouldn't you love to love her?"

Touched By An Angel, for sure. Always makes me feel better when I'm not feeling well...but there's many other songs too, I guess.

Hmmmm I think Rhiannon is good for all occasions

At the moment, I Know I'm Not Wrong gets me hysterically happy because it brings me right back to the Dublin gig.

Other than that, any live version Stand Back wakes me up better than caffeine.

Not one song but-

The 12" I Can't Wait Maxi Single with The Rock and Dance Versions of I Can't Wait as well as the awesome extended version of The Nightmare.
