Any Stevie singers out there?

I've been having a bit of fun doing some Stevie clips. Just very short bits of some of her songs, trying to sing them myself...have a listen for fun! lol Bear in mind this is just for fun and I'm not a singer (though I love doing it!)

Anyone out there who actually is though?

Great voice.

I LOVE the way you sing Dreams :D. The others are great too, but this one especially, IMO.

I sang 'Rooms On Fire' at pub karaoke once. That is the extent of my Stevie singing!

I am aprofessional singer/songwriter. I never do a show without one Stevie Nicks song (I even tell the audience this). Lately, I have enjoyed doing Gypsy on the piano. It's a cool vibe.

I think there may be some of my Stevie covers on youtube as well.

Heheh, thank you for your kind words!!! That's really nice.

Sleepless Child, I actually quite like my version of Dreams too...and Beautiful Child I like...but as most people, I have issues with my voice. *gag* I'm trying to get over it (hence posting on here for fun)

I've just added 2 more songs. Another longer and karaoke-backing (courtesy of Youtube) version of Dreams, and Silver Springs, again with karaoke-sounding music.

I'm quite bored today...lol

I would love to record my voice but I don't have the technology for that. It's hard for me to prove to people that I can sing and that by some coinicidence my voice does sound like Stevie's. I don't try, it just does. That's just my vocal range. I would love to post something for everyone but I have no way of doing so. Sorry.:sorry:

Uh, sweetie you are most definitely a singer! They are the best covers of Stevie songs I have ever heard!!!! What makes them great and unique is that you do not try and capture Stevie's voice. No overbearing forced vibrato, just your own special voice. Great job.:thumbsup:

You have a beautiful singing voice! I sat and listened to all of your songs this morning while I was doing my English Literature essay. Your voice reminds me of Suzanne Vega's.

I second this! Well, not the English Lit thing lol. I think your voice is very Stevie-ish too! (And that is so a compliment! :D)

Maybe someday I will post something. I'm scawed.

This is what I used to be like, all through my teens. I wasn't able to sing in front of anyone (still can't really. Am SO embarrassed to do it. I've only just begun to do this sort of thing. Record clips and play them for others, but blush at even the thought of singing IN FRONT of others), but would say how I was a pretty good singer...but it sounds lame when you don't back it up with any proof. And then I lost my confidence anyway and thought I kinda sucked as a singer, but never stopped singing for myself alone. Heheh.

Edit - forgot to say, I have been trying to write music and my own songs for about a year or so now, and my partner and I have set up a little home recording studio. I just play my keyboard (the song entitled "Mangled Sara" is me attempting to play Sara by ear on the keyboard, doing the bass guitar using the keyboard sounds, etc, lol) and make up drum things and all of that...I intend to write lyrics and sing them at some point too...so that's how I've got this software/mic and stuff.

Me again. I added a tiny bit of the beginning of Stop Dragging My Heart Around. lol
