I found some Kirwan material I've never heard of before...

Jo Ann Kelly - Tramp 1974

http://onmuddysavariverbank.blogspot...-unissued.html

It contains six live-cuts that Kirwan plays on!

Thanks, I think I'll have to take a closer look... :-)

I'm really excited about this! :) I haven't heard Danny live without FM before.

(The download is so slow... I've been waiting for almost 40 minutes already.)

Here's a song from '73 that Danny played on (I think): http://obehah.over-blog.com/article-...-38506394.html - Chris Youlden, nowhere road. I've never heard that before either, so I'm having a really good time right now

I'm surprised that Jo Ann didn't play piano on this. Although she was a great blues singer, I'm under the impression that she (like our own Christine) thought of herself as primarily a musician first and a vocalist second.

I actually have the CD of this, very good album, and very much like the two Tramp albums before it.

It is worth noting that the liner notes state "Danny Kirwan plays on the live tracks 9-14 - this recording is the last known live performance by the ex-Fleetwood Mac blues wunderkind"

Thanks very much for this and for directing me to what is clearly an outstanding blues site:thumbsup:
