I'm a completist, but I'm also newly on a budget!

Have never heard it. I'll look it up on youtube.

woe is me!

Why is this not available on itunes? What is going on in this world? I blame lawyers.

I'm gonna PM you, TrueFaith!

It's a decent song but that album is pretty bad (as is the movie). Unless you're a total completist like me, I like to own the CD and I did pay about £10 for this one.

Could someone please PM me? I've only heard this song once and know nothing about it! Thank you!

It's one of my very favorite Stevie songs ever. The lyrics are so poignant and... sad. I'm a sucker for songs that are about Fleetwood Mac, and this is probably the best of that lot. Touched By An Angel used to be my morning wake up music... it's such a sweet song to start your day by. It's definitely worth tracking down and hearing.

I would love to get my hands on this song, as well. :)

You and Dani check your PMs! :)

Could you PM me too?

I lost this song in the past year when my computer died, and someone was gracious enough to send it to me too. Its a nice enough song, but its not worth paying list price for a whole soundtrack (especially a second time, as I bought the CD back in 2000 or whenever).

The old timers on this board would say by not buying this you are stripping the writers of their royalties. They reminded me of this so I removed a download link on an album that is commercially still availabe by import only. So far from this thread it looks like Stevie is going to lose out on thirty cents. How could you do this to her?

She already saw my thirty cents, and spent it on rainbows and moonbeams, or whatever she does with all the money she makes.

I like this song very much... Really the only good thing about the soundtrack.

Here you can listen...

I've never heard of this song before. Has she written the song by herself or is it a cover? Is it an outtake from the TISL sessions? Who has produced it?

Thank you for info.

Interesting reading. ETA: Do you think it's about The Dance?

Lyrics:

And when she walked in the room
After so many years
He looked up and saw her
He was standing at the crossroads
She was moving in slow motion
Everything was the same
Except that everything was different

In that very moment, everyone was silent
And everyone was friendly
For the first time in years
Everyone was smiling
Though their pain was apparent
And the floor was wet and slippery
With the tracks of their tears

And when I see someone standing
At the side of the stage
Not standing in the shadows
I see her face
Glowing in the darkness
In her own angel way
"I have come to make you better
I have come to take you away."

No one slipped and fell
This time, everyone was steady
Someone held my arm so that
I would not fall
For the fist time, in a long time
Everyone was ready
No one said a word
And that simply said it all

And then I see someone standing
At the side of the stage
Not standing in the shadows
I see her face
Glowing in the darkness
In her own angel way
"I have come to make you better
I have come... to take you away."
I'll make you better

Walking through the room together
In suspended animation
No one saw us go, no one said goodbye
But in my heart I leave
Great expectations
That you will find the answers
To your questions
And that life will once more
Be a celebration
And that you will be touched by an angel
And that you will be touched by an angel
And that you will be touched by an angel

Celebration
Someday
Someday, someday
Celebration
