Kelly Osbourne Got Lip Surgery To Get Drugs

Kelly Osbourne was once so hooked on drugs, she underwent cosmetic surgery just to get her hands on painkillers.

The pop star daughter of Ozzy Osbourne began experimenting with drugs when she was 13 and was a "full-blown addict" by the time she became a reality TV star in her family's show The Osbournes.

And the 24 year old admits she was so desperate to get her fix, she had surgery on her lips to get more drugs.

She says, "My dad got a nose job so he could get drugs. I used my dad's f---ing tricks. I found a plastic surgeon and had collagen in my lips so he could give me painkillers. I looked f---ing ridiculous.

I really don't understand how this would have been necessary for her. I'm no Kelly Osbourne, but I could get painkillers tomorrow if I wanted them, and that's going to a women's college in a pretentious New England bubble.

I agree. And interesting that she says Ozzy did the same thing and that's where she got the idea from. They both could have scored illegally without having surgery.

Think she's just trying to play off a bad surgery?

if ozzy isn't a walking billboard for staying sober, i don't know who is~ i love ozzy, loved his damn reality show~ but the poor guy is a mess & i find it sad that we know that at least 2 of his kids went down his road~ remember jack osbourne's drug special that was on mtv?~ & i truly believe they were both using during "the osbournes"~ i wish sobriety on jack & kelly~ & am happy they both seem to be healthy now~

Why? I can't believe anyone would want to do anything to their face let alone their lips & @ the age of 24 just to get drugs. That is sad. :( Well, hopefully she's learned her lesson. She seems OK now, at least from what I've seen on DWTS.

i was reading an article about her recently where she said, at one time she was so far gone on pills, that all she would do was get the pills, take a ton of them & then order tons of food & eat that, all why crying that she was an addict & overweight~

i think those kids grew up really fast~ seeing as the were raised alot of their youth on a tour bus~ yeah their parents were there, but to what avail?~

I think they both admitted they were using during the show.

I think thats awful and sad. I agree that she probably could have gotten drugs any way she wanted without having to resort to something like surgery, but I guess you never know what's going on behind closed doors. She seems to be doing really well now and I wish her nothing but the best in the future.

Maybe she needed a justification for herself, rather than going an illegal route. That way she could convince herself she really needed the pills.

I know of someone who had ALL of her teeth removed for the pain pills. :shocked:

My doctor recommended I get hemerrhoid surgery a few years back. But he said it wasn't urgent and I could wait or just live with the symptoms. I asked him what the recovery would be like and he said "oh, you'll be on two different pain meds for at least a week",

I booked the surgery that day. LOL
