Another visit to Walter Reed while on the East Coast

After seeing Stevie on Chris Isaak talking about her Walter Reed visits, I was thrilled and amazed that she takes the time to go visit soldiers.
Like she said, she probably knows more about what's going on than anybody else. Oh the stories she hears. And the ones she tells the soliders.

Anyways, she did another visit while on the East coast:

I can't get over how sweet it is of her to do that...she is amazing  Just goes to show that she is a lot more than the flighty chick lots of people think she is!

Thanks for posting :)

It is great to hear something about her Walter Reed visits from a normal observer, not Stevie herself or another spokesperson who seems to be advertising the visits. She seems truly invested in the soldiers and reading that made me proud of her consistent dedication at Walter Reed.

Stevie is truely a down to earth caring and very genious person I did have a wonderful time meeting her at the barnes noble signing in New York back in March of this year she was amazing and so sweet and it was near the end of the line i wanted to say too she was still smiling and so sweet and got to say a few words to her and she did the same too me and grabbed my hand too. I think its awesome she stops in frequently to see the soldiers and make there day a lot brighter with her big smile and warm caring heart. she is an inspiration and thats why I have been a fan of hers and fleetwood macs since 1979 since I was 9 years old so for 30 years now and counting.

I love how Stevie quietly does these visits...not expecting a tv crew or media to show up ... but rather just to spend time with the soldiers. Word only getting out that she does this via soldiers or family of soldiers blogs. No PR or attention on her. Just focusing in on the soldiers and hearing their stories and making their day a little brighter. Stevie is such and angel.
