Australian Tour Ticket Prices

I just got an email to buy tickets (front row included) starting at over $700. I thought that was disgusting what did most people pay in the USA and European tour. what did front row tickets cost?
I would love to be front row but thats way expensive.

Hmmm, I wasn't supposed to be front row, even though I made my way to the front of the stage. I had 3rd row tickets and mine was $190 per ticket. $700 is an ass of money for front row, I think.

ticket prices

prices are as follows: front row $714.50
second row from $544.50
third to fifth row $445.50
A reserve $245.50 B reserve $210.50

My 5th row ticket in Sweden, Stockholm, cost only ca. $130 :) That was awesome!!

Is this e-mail from a company like I Love All Access? I know they cost a lot of money over here - they basically say you will get a seat in the front 10 or 20 rows if you pay them a lot of money. However I still was able to find 11th row for face value on ticketmaster. (125 US)

So I'm not sure if this is a company like ILAA - or if this will be the only way possible to get tickets.

In another thread someone said that's like $590.00 in U.S. dollars. I feel bad for you guys. Who in the hell can afford that kind of money?

Those are the only two that usually say you can have one of the front rows for more money, as usually prices are determined by the block or section you are in not the row.

These can't be the "official" prices. This must surely be through a broker or third party? No way would any band charge this much for tickets...

I agree.. they sound like broker prices or the so called VIP tickets

I got my tickets through ILAA and I got to meet Mick. Then again, I didn't pay a dime for all of this sooooo I really don't know anything. :)

im disgusted with these prices
normally u can pull up decent seats on ticketek etc for 299$ or 250$ reserved
it was one of those prices for SYW

even 4th or 5th row will get u to the stage

but 700$...is RIDICULOUS
and i wont pay it
no matter how much im obsessed with this band

That's just damn ridiculous. My mom and I paid $150 for 3rd row seats.... much more and we probably would have thought twice.

this is the link to the tickets if interested in checking it out

I just checked out the prices and they have actually lowered front row to from $495.00 so Im wondering if it was either an error or they realized how rediculous these prices were. I still wont pay that.

Gypsy-Rhiannon 08-20-2009 11:56 AM

These are the VIP tickets. You get the same in the UK. And yes... some people will buy them. However any that are not sold are the ones released for normal price in the week or so before the actual shows. So calm down people!

grace_face 08-25-2009 01:14 AM

We paid $445 for our 3rd or 4th row tickets for the Brisbane show coming in December. We thought for us, it was worth it, even though it's a LOT of money. When I first saw the $714 price for first row tickets, I was SHOCKED and APPALLED! No way could we afford that.

We went through Preferred Seating, which is a broker, yeah, and is always very expensive. We just really wanted guaranteed excellent seats though...every other in-demand concert we've ever been to we end up halfway down the stalls booking through the normal ticket sellers, or even Preferred Seating most of the time!
