I remember watching all this at the time. I'm not entierly shure what they were thinking or even if it wasen't a gag. One night (it seems) They sent him a concert jacket with this on the back.

Some how, looking back, i think this was a joke made up by Letterman.
Of course it may not be. They were secretly married in Mexico..you know.

This was not a joke. Stevie was on Letterman in the 90's (not sure of date) and they were talking about it. She said she had no idea what went on at the time because she was in Australia with Petty & Dylan. She told Dave that once she found out, she FIRED them! :nod:
