The one thing I hate to share is...

My Bathroom. Go before you get here. I hate when that door closes and you are locked in there with my private stuff.

What one thing do you hate to share?

My car! I would dedicate tanks and tanks of gas and hours and hours of my own time to personally chauffeur a friend of mine around rather than give Desiree (my 2007 Jetta) to someone for a day.

I have problems sharing my romantic feelings I have with the women I have them for..... But that isn't a surprise to you all! ;) It is something that I really want and NEED to work on!!

I also don't like sharing my car.... my awesome Saab 92-X- I adore that little thing!!

Hahahaha!!! Best answer I've heard to anything in ages. Nothing I think of is going to top that one.

almost everything....I am a very possessive person. Not an only child but was one for ten years so I do have a bit of only child syndrome and proud of it! Don't touch my crayons!

totally get that.... I'm a 23 year old only child and I have a problem sharing anything....I'm trying to be better. The things I have the most trouble sharing ...Food (I hated when my roommates would take my food without asking) and clothes (they never come back in the same condition).

Understood.

I can get pretty posessive... I don't like when people are in my room (even when I'm present) or driving my car with me in the passenger seat.

hippilil86: I'm an only child too! sometimes I find myself getting back into the habit of not wanting to share things. I'm working on breaking myself of it. I hate sharing food. Like at a restaurant, if someone wants to try a bit of what I have on my plate..my first instinct is to say "then why didn't you order some for yourself?" I also hate when someone drives my car. My dad always takes it places so he doesn't have to take his gas guzzler truck out of the garage. Both my parents take it places, but I can't really complain since I don't pay insurance or anything on it. Its just funny that both of the major dents in my car came from when my parents were driving it! :distress:

My books.

I remember once back in middle school when I was completely retarded over the Anne Rice vampire books, my best friend wanted to borrow my copy of "The Vampire Lestat." I reluctantly let it go, but when I saw her with it at school the next day, the cover was bent! ACK! My boooook!

I made up some ridiculous story about how my mom wanted her to give the book back, because I shouldn't loan out my things (not true, but plausible as my mother is kinda...also bent), and took it back.

I'm MUCH better now and can loan books out to certain people without being too worried about them, but my Kindle has made my life a lot easier - "Sorry, I do have a copy of that, but it's on my Kindle, no can sharesies."

As an only child I completely agree with OCS. I hate sharing my drinks, my clothes, hairbrush, my parental unit (lol), and my iPod.
