Wow, Ken, that is sad. I love ITM and thought Christine had pretty much discovered a sense of ease in the country. Having to leave the room when her dogs ate? For crying out loud--there is NO excuse for that.

In the end, CM is Cm - faults and all.

To her credit - I'd be a c*nt too if I gave up all those things :laugh:

Finally, I have to wonder how much heaping on slamming La Nicks would get around here if just one of those negative things was attributed to her by, unlike here, an indirect source.

It sounds like she was caught at a bad time. I'd be pretty 'eccentric' too, living alone, trying to quit smoking and drinking, coming out of a relationship and trying to record an album.

I don't get the "hiding out in Caterbury" comment.

She was (is) retired. the Kent countyside would seem an ideal place to spend your retirement

I agree.

As I have said on other threads, given that she lives alone and was going through a tough time, one can't help but allow her whatever eccentricities Ken thinks she was displaying.
