Any "candid" video of Stevie?

I'm very new here, but love it so far...
just wondering if anyone has "candid" video of Stevie/or The Mac...for example: the makeup applying/breathing machine stuff from Rumors? I realize the Destiny Rules DVD exists...just wondering about any rare gems??

Wow, I didn't know there was a time long ago when people actually said "far out..."

She sure was foxy in those days. She was what they call a babe. It's no wonder she fell apart in the '90s: when you romanticize yourself & then you look in the mirror one day & see that you no longer fit that image physically, you can crack up or sink into depression. Stevie thought she was Dorian Gray & would stay foxy forever. The reality slammed into her as her commercial popularity & the popularity of Fleetwood Mac waned.

Her hair was beautiful backstage in December 1977. Why on earth did she puff it up the way she did for the performances? Mistake.

Love love love these videos! Thanks for posting!!!!

:confused:For some reason I can't see the videos... its just like a big blank square with a tiny white box in the corner of it? It won't even do anything when I click on it? Is there something I need to change in my settings?

This backstage impromtu version of wild heart while she is getting make up done is one of my fav stevie videos. Man she was really belting it out!! Love it! The album version pales in comparison, although you can hear pieces in it!
Great post!

Well now, I do think the pills and the booze had an awful lot to do with her looks too. For me, late 80's, early 90's Stevie is almost too painful to look at now ( even through she was rocking the cleavage alot in those days and that is something I've never had a problem with, thank you). Anybody else remember the mid 90's when Stevie just disappeared....gone. Everybody would say the same thing, "What has happened to Stevie? What is she doing? Has anybody heard anything?" It was tough to keep the faith. But then comes '97 and "The Dance" and suddenly Stevie is back and looking and sounding like the Stevie from the early '80's and you just said to yourself, "Now where has THIS Stevie been all these years!!!!!". Stevie may not have the "Babe" thing going now but I think she certainly does have the "Sexy" thing going full blast. You watch her onstage and she will have this look like she knows she doesn't have to try to be sexy, she knows she just is. And, yes, I am a straight guy who finds Stevie very hot and very sexy now and would rather spend some one on one time with her than with any of these young wannabe's. As I wrote in another post: " Older the violin, sweeter the music. Older the wine, sweeter the taste."

Oh snap, Bubba, go ahead! I agree with you completely. But since I am a girl, I can say that I've always thought Stevie was beautiful, no matter the year. Of course...the early 90s were a rough time, but it was rough for everyone. If you see any celebrities from that time period, everyone just looked so wrong....so much hair....so many odd outfits. But Stevie still rocked her sexy cleavage bearing dresses. I'm sure she went through a depression and hard times and stuff, thats understandable, but I think she still maintained herself through that time. She kept herself "up" which is something most people have a hard time doing when they get down and out.

But for sure....a 1997 Stevie was rocking and super sexy. Thats the first time I truly watched them perform and fell in love with the Mac the very first night MTV aired The Dance. And don't you guys agree, for being 61....she really ISN'T 61! What 61 yr old is smokin hot and rockin the stage like Stevie? No one. She is an oddity. haha.

OH MY GOD, I LOVED THAT WARNERS BDAY CLIP!!!!

I'd never seen it before. I am SO SHOWING MY PARTNER THIS!!

I'd seen all the others (several times), but WOW. Stevie is ADORABLE and HILARIOUS!!!

louielouie2000 12-04-2009 01:26 AM

There was some debate as to whether or not this was Stevie, but there's no doubt in my mind it's her:

If you do the Torrent thing, the Mac documentaries have some great candid clips (Disney's Going Home, the recent BBC one, etc)

GypsyBlueEyes 12-04-2009 01:48 AM

^Yeah, that's definitely her
