Rare GDW live

I don't know if this has been posted before but I think this is amazing! I wonder who that band is. It looks like a small venue. What I would have given to be there that night, it looks like the performance was kind of spontaneous.

Bob Welsh.

Of course, it's Bob Welsh.

Bob Welch.

That's so unlike anything I've ever seen Stevie do before.... in a good way-- it's refreshing and she look gorgeous. But it does remind me of how much I adore the witchy woman :)

I'm sure it was planned - this is for Bob Welch and friends live at the Roxy. Was John there? I know of course Stevie and Mick were there. Christine was also there. I haven't been able to find any video of it, but they did a great version of Christine's "Remember Me". Chris and Bob have a really cute conversation before the song, and I love Chris' comment after the song is over. Stevie was also singing with Bob on Ebony Eyes.

iTunes actually has the album for sale and you can buy it.

It was planned, although Stevie was billed in the Los Angeles Times as Madame X. Stevie was also getting her own tour under way: I think she & her gang set off about a week after this. They started in Texas. But Christine & Robbie Patton & others were listed as guests.

John, too.

At just about the same time, Lindsey was onstage with the Kingston Trio at the indoor theater at Magic Mountain outside Los Angeles, singing & playing banjo with John Stewart & Nick Reynolds & Bob Shane et al.

Nice tidbit. Thank you.
