Stevie on Michael Jackson

I just saw this on the Nickslive Blogspot....guess it came from a review by David Wild (who writes for Rolling Stone) for the new Transformers movie...

Midway through the film, Stevie Nicks -- a truly beautiful woman inside and out who I've loved since high school -- called to discuss Michael Jackson for a special issue of Rolling Stone that's coming right up. So I found myself sneaking out to lobby and recording our talk about Michael, music, fame and life as the absurdly loud sounds of endless transformer battles bleed loudly through the theater walls.

So it looks like Stevie will be in the MJ Tribute issue of Rolling Stone.

She said she tried to loan MJ some of her foundation makeup at the Clinton Inaug., but it was the wrong color. I believe she also went to a private birthday party either for or hosted by MJ for someone else at Disneyland.

I've always wondered if Stevie's ever gone to Disneyland. I guess according to you, she has. I wonder what she thought of it? People tend to either love or hate that place. Me, I love it.

LOL! Was it that Liz Taylor party? Someone I worked with did security for that party and brought me back a cocktail napkin. It was lavendar and had Liz Taylor's name on it, and the date. Too funny.

You know everyone is asking could MJ have done 50 shows, but those 50 were supposed to be from July to February. That's no big deal (if you're healthy).

Our Macsters could do that. It would be especially easy because you're in ONE place. No traveling. Sure, FM doesn't dance non-stop like Michael does. But I think the FM concert runs a little longer than Michael's would have. And they are moving quite a bit, Lindsey with an instrument. And they are 10 years older than Michael.

So, those people commenting that doing 50 shows itself would have been physically impossible are wrong. I think that would have been a breeze. Sure, the psychological toll if those shows were getting bad reviews, the criticism, and the addiction problems could have caused trouble. But 50 shows in 6 months? Hey, it's more than doable.

Thank you for posting this bit of information JohnL. Knowing this somehow makes me feel better. I've been wondering if there was going to be any word from the Nicks camp about Michael Jackson's untimely passing. I will be on the look out for that issue of Rolling Stone.
