Pics of Stevie smoking

Ok, ok, I keep hearing these random rumours about Stevie smoking the occasional cigarette. We all know she used to puff away and then quit, but is it really true, does she still smoke sometimes? Have people actually seen her? Do we have pics to prove this? When is the last time someone saw her?

I hope she really isn't....although I am sure our girl smokes a joint every now and then, it's the gypsy that she is, haha. Seriously though, I've never seen a pic of Stevie smoking. Do they exist?

I'm not sure if there are any pics, but on the Tango DVD she is holding holding a cigar during Everywhere. She also smokes a joint on Tusk doc outtakes. I am sure she smokes a joint every now and then too

Whoa, really? What part on the Tusk doc is she smoking the joint? I wanna see! haha, I think it will make me laugh. You guys are very observant. Far more than I am....I'm real A.D.D.

EW: You've gone through so many changes with your body in the last few years-that detox, losing weight, giving up cigarettes, etc. Do you notice any or all of those things having an effect on your voice?

Nicks: Totally. And also, I'm taking voice lessons now. On the whole Fleetwood Mac tour, I took a voice lesson before every show -- 45 shows, 45 lessons. It's the most committed thing I've ever done. And I didn't have a bad night. I mean, I'm in good voice; I'm a good, strong singer now. And I love that. I love the fact that when I go on stage I know I'm gonna be okay. And nobody liked to smoke more than me. So when people tell me, "I can't do it," I'm going yeah, you can, because I smoked three packs a day-Kools, menthol. I'm here to tell you, I don't miss it, and I'm so glad that I'm not going to die of lung cancer that I can't even tell you.

EW: After doing 45 days with the other thing, quitting cigarettes was probably a piece of cake by comparison.

Nicks: Well, it was a lot easier. I really did think, what would I do if somebody told me that I had throat cancer, that something was wrong with my vocal chords and I couldn't sing anymore? After getting through this life and surviving everything I've survived, somebody's gonna tell me there's something wrong with my throat? That's how I stopped smoking. I talked to myself for two solid months, November and December of '96. And I smoked hundreds of cigarettes while I was talking to myself. So by the time it got to be Jan. 1, I'd smoked so many cigarettes in the two nights before that I really could feel the real awfulness of what it does to you. And I got up Jan. 1 and put the patch on and have never smoked ever since. Didn't suffer, didn't feel bad about it, didn't ever consider starting again.

I've watched the Tango in the Night DVD way too often :o -- I can tell you right away, she's holding a ciggie as she chats with Rick at the very beginning of "Everywhere". The video's on youtube, and the 'smoking gun,' so to speak, is in the first thirty seconds or so. That was the first time I ever saw her with a ciggie and it surprised me. Other than that, she was absolutely adorable in that video. :)

Kools! :distress: Menthols really gum up your throat. I'm glad she's quit.

All right Lisa, I'll take my punishment. Maybe watching Mick's World Turning Dance Solo. (And I hate to say it, but I love it. :))

However I have learned to close my eyes during Stevie's aftermarket close-ups, where you're suddenly jarred from a great rock concert to a cheesy glam photo shoot.

That's part of the reason I like Everywhere so much on the Tango DVD -- it's just Stevie looking like she's having some fun, ciggies and all, without those damned close-ups.

(Plus, Chris was beyond fabulous on the whole thing. And I like the guys.)

Forgive me?

Nah, I think the vesturbation might be too harsh a sentence. You'll have to sit through the entire Not That Funny from the Mirage album.

Chris is beyond fabulous all the time!
