Fanboys: Cheap Trick record Transformer 2 theme!

For some reason, this made my day.

wow...that woke me up this morning!...hahaha ( it's 5:30am btw :D) ....good song (very Japanese anime-ish) and I imagine quite exciting for a Transformer movie fan, which I heard , that the first one was great. Are Cheap Trick, the same band from the 80's, who had a couple of other hits? (can't remember the names now)

They had 5 great albums in the 70s, then they did have some hits in the 80s (and some crappy albums). "Flame" and, I think, an Elvis cover were the 80s hits. Their last album, however, was very fine. They have a new album coming out next week... same day as the Transformers soundtrack.

I loveeeeee Cheap Trick! (Hence the trick in fleetwoodtrick.) I have most of their CDs. :) And I'm hopefully going to see them again at Summerfest in July.

Cheap Trick is great. I'm seeing their drummer, Bun E. Carlos, in his new side project band tomorrow night! Love watching him go at it!

I have to say that the shorts for this movie look very very good, some of the FX look fantastic. I might even be tempted to go and see it.
