Would anyone happen to have the alternate version of Paper Doll that was done for the Greatest Hits album in 1988 but was left off? If you do and could post it, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much in advance if you do.

Is the one on the box set the only version - or is there another alt. version out there? I think that is what the poster was asking for, but I'm not sure if it's the same thing that was put on the box set.

How is the box-set version different from the single-version?

Yea, there is an alternate and thats the one I would like if anybody has.

I found this one labelled Alternate on my computer, I'm not sure where I got it from.

The vocal sounds the same to me, but the arrangement sounds a little bit different. I dunno. Maybe it's the one you are looking for.

Thank you so much, this is the one I was looking for, I think at least :-) I had never heard it before, I just knew it was out there. I agree, the vocal does sound the same but the arrangement sounds slightly different. Its so subtle tho, it's hard to tell. But I really appreciate you posting this, thank you very much!!
