Staying in your seat?
 

It'll be the first gigs for me in Oct, so at the SECC (as i'm taking my mum and dad !), i'll be staying in the seats (5th row) - but at Wembley, is there anything to stop you heading to the front of the stage? I've read a few people on here saying they have done that at shows.
I would love to get to see Lindsey play close up.
Almost every gig I go to is standing, so there's never a problem !
I can understand seating at some gigs, but FM have got enough upbeat songs to not warrant seating !

so for here in Canada, &, the States, it has been okay to proceed to the front of the stage, (just as the lights go down......),

go for it at the SECC as well, M&P will be ok on their own while you "play Lindsey's Guitar, try to get to the right of Lindsey, (see you there.....),

you have nothing to loose, other than perhaps going back to you seat,

In 2003 in Newcastle most people stayed in their seats from what I can remember but that may have been down to the venue staff. My partner was standing at his seat for a Simply Red concert there and was unbelievably told to sit down by a steward. Does anyone know who the decision to allow people up front lies with? Is it the band or does the decision lie with the venue staff?

That said, I have Row 3 seats for Sheffield and have every intention of going up front if possible.

I would LOVE to be able to move to the fron of the stage athe SECC gig! Most other gigs I've been to there though you can't really do it. I'm a few rows behind this original poster but will defnitely try to get to the front if at all possible!

What do you guys think?

Last time Fleetwood Mac were in London they were pretty strict about only letting the first two rows up to the stage I remember.

I did it at all shows last time and not just London. Mind you I was front row :laugh: BUt people were standing up at the stage before the lights even went down. In fact it was being encouraged at the bands request

Ah ok.. I didn't go to Newcastle. But last time at Manchester, Birmingham and London the first few rows were being encouraged to stand at the stage.

Maybe at the start... but a friend of mine appeared near to me towards the end of one London show and he was in row 10
