LB on band marriage (from LBT)

[This is from an article on Little Big Town. How does it matter if there's one marriage in a band or 3. If two people break up, it can be just as chaotic as when everyone is breaking up.]

Recently Westbrook received some sage advice from another musician who knows a thing or two about marriages inside of rock n' roll bands.

"Lindsey Buckingham (Of Fleetwood Mac) told me that there shouldn't be more than one marriage in a band," Westbrook said. "And that guy knows what he's talkin' about!"

I don't think he was referring to breaking up. I think he just meant the dynamics of having a husband and wife in a band and all the baggage that goes along with that, what with trying to not take band business home and not bring home stuff to the band...

Think so? Well, I guess Stevie did allude to that part of it, how he'd want to gripe to his 'old lady' about the band being mad at him because he didn't get a guitar part right, when, as part of the band, she was mad that he couldn't get it right too. She said she couldn't give him comfort in that respect.

In that sense, Jenny and Mick's relationship was healthier for the band.

True. I guess I'm looking at it from Jimi Westrook's perspective too. I would hate to think that LB would be insinuating Jimi and Karen will break up.
