Chris Isaak: New album & single
 

I got the new Chris Isaak album last week. It's called Mr. Lonely. It's very good, full of pretty songs. He's a master practioner [sic] of the form. I salute him. And his voice is still to die for. Pristine.

However, I have to say that if anyone isn't prepared to jump at buying the album, please please please do yourself the favor of seeking out the single off the album, "We Let Her Down." I srsly doubt there will be a BETTER single this year! It's very moving (to me) and so exquisitely rendered (produced, sung, played, conceived). I think he really looks at a significant sociological phenomenon. I know I recognized it. Tears.

Just listening to this song for the first time... It's pretty good...

wow i really liked this song. i am going to have to check out the rest of the cd. i dont have any of his stuff but i do like his voice. great song!
