Farewell Failure

I went onto the newly updated Buckingham Nicks . net site last night, and was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a new bootleg song added to the setlist Stevie and Lindsey had done in Birmingham, AL in 1975.

:blob1:

It's called Farewell Failure - clearly a Stevie song - and me loves it already!

Wondered if anyone else had heard it before? It's in the multimedia section of B/N. Very angsty :D

How exciting! I had never heard of this song...dling now, can't wait to listen! (also "You Won't Forget Me" seems new to me?) Thanks so much for the heads up here!!

Edit: OMG! I absolutely love it! thank you again, so much!!! (and I had heard the other song already...)

I'm sorry, I must be having problems reading. I thought for a minute there that you said "newly updated" and "Bucknghamnicks.net," but those words make no sense when used this way.

Thought the exact same thing, myself. The last time it was updated, I think Stevie was celebrating her 58th birthday.

But, yes, it is true. It's been updated.

yeah, apparently its been back since like Jan. 8th. Suprised nobody realized it!

You can go to Javier Pacheco's Myspace page and there are several Fritz songs posted. Wondering Why, Good Old Fritz, Crying Place, Product of the the times, and next time around. he also blogs about the songs and includes the lyrics. It's so cool to see this stuff. I hope more surfaces.

Yes, I finally decided to update, after all this time! Little wonder few people noticed, since it hadn't been updated in forever. I was reluctant to "announce" it for fear of sounding self-important and self-promoting.

I do encourage you to leave the safety of the Ledge once in a while, even though GoldDustOrphan has taken the trouble to re-upload the song to another website in order to provide you with a way to avoid it, and my site, altogether.

Glad you guys like the song! I got it from Gary "Hoppy" Hodges, former drummer for Buckingham Nicks.

Nice. I didn't know the exact dates of the two Alabama concerts before. Was that newly added information as well?

sodascouts 02-14-2009 11:25 AM

Yes, I don't think the dates were mentioned earlier.
