No Spoken Word (live) + Rock A Little - Extended Non-LP version

Does anybody know if this sweet live version of No Spoken Word is from the Sydney soundboard recording, or if not then which show it is from? I thought the only soundboard recordings from the RAL tour were Red Rocks, Weedsport NY, and the 5 songs from the Sydney show that we have (OTR, Dreams, TTM, SB, ICW). I downloaded this in a torrent file called "Mirror Mirror: The Alternate Rock A Little". I think the alternate version of the title track that was previously on Youtube is also here. Maybe someone else can tell?

Hiya, Timmy!
I didn't download yet, but it's probably one of the two tracks (the other is I NEED TO KNOW) that were included on one of the old master reels. These two tracks were both from the Red Rocks shoot, but they were performed two or three times each.

If it's the one where she thanks people for their love at the end of the song, it's from Red Rocks.

No Spoken Word is not from Red Rocks!!!

Here's the Red Rocks performance from the master reel:

Reminder: It isn't the take she used for her video.

Wow...that was great! This just reminds me how much the released Red Rocks sucks. This is definitely a different performance than the one I posted earlier...maybe mine is from the Sydney reel? Are there any other Red Rocks SBD cuts our there? You mentioned I Need To Know... ;)

I never heard of a NO SPOKEN WORD from the Sydney material on the reels. But maybe there is one.

The only other recording from Red Rocks material on the reels is I NEED TO KNOW, as far as I know (even though I don't need to know).

edit: Come to think of it, wasn't there a live NO SPOKEN WORD (ostensibly from the Red Rocks video) on a B side of something?

Perhaps it is from Sydney then.

C'mon Dave...you know you wanna know!

Yes, but it's the same "doctored" version released on the Red Rocks video. It's really not the audio on the released show that bothers me so much, it's the post rehab shots they took of Stevie that make it unbearable to watch. Had all of the cheesy close ups not been littered throughout the official release, it might have been a more enjoyable show. I have the same problem watching the Tango show released.

Do a lot of other artists do these types of fixes for their live releases? I know there is probably overdubs here and there on many live releases, but does anyone go to the extent Stevie has in the past? Rerecording vocals...taking new supposedly more flattering close up shots long after the show has been filmed?

I agree. The post-production ruined both of those releases. They tried to take the messiness of RAL (which I tend to like) away and replace it with too many camera tricks and too much gauze over the lens.
Matter of fact, I found the slow-mo and lens-gauze on the TITN video rendered it practically unwatchable. That was Stevie??? How many slow motion pouty and look-away-from-the-camera shots can one person possibly take?

The first time I watched it, groaning, the final credit came up: A Cream Cheese Production.

I remember saying to myself, "Oh, don't you know it, pal."

i remember seeing live @ red rocks advertised BEFORE it was on TV and i couldn't wait to see it...i saw it and could not beleive it...i thought it sucked from the first 2 minutes...IT REEEKED of cheese!! LOL!! i have seen her live many times ....the best being wild heart and mirage...i have mentioned this before in posts but stevie sounds best when she is RAW!! Gypsy in the mirage video...the best!! Rose Garden that i downloaded on this site that is listed under RAL edits....AWESOME... she is designed to sound as rough as rod steward, kim karnes and bonnie tyler....WHICH by the way we all know stevie far surpasses.. the bella donna HBO concert was GREAT as well...like i said...raw and undressed up.. i wish someone would put together another concert of hers where she is just singin' it like it should be sung...it has so much more heart in it...gives me goosebumps...that's a true authentic delivery of her art ..i wish i could have been stevie's manager for about a year or two in the 80' s i would have encouraged MANY more risks than she took...she could have sang w/$%#@ coming out of her mouth and people would have still been mezmorized..she is so gifted but even moreso when we see her the way she really is ...the most unique woman in music...THANK GOD FOR STEVIE NICKS!!

My favorite parts of Red Rocks are the "unfixed" moments; a few times during BATB and during the Edge walk (and some parts of EO17). Such a waste, that video.
