Any Stevie fans going to the Glendale concert?
I was wondering if any of you are planning on attending the Fleetwood Mac concert in Glendale? In May and June I'll be on vacation in the US and will stay in a hotel Phoenix for two or three days to attend the concert. I'm so excited to stay in Stevie's hometown. :)
On a different note, it's my first time in that area of the USA, so are there any must-sees in or around Phoenix? Grand Canyon is already on my list of course. |

I plan on going to the Glendale show, too. Also, I live in Sedona - it truly is an incredible place. You should definitely make the 2 hr drive north to see this phenomenal part of America. From Phoenix it would be along your drive to the Grand Canyon. In addition, I am a concierge here in Sedona - so if you want more info on things to do/places to see - just ask - I'll be more than happy to help you out :)
Peace :wavey: |
If you like to hike there is Camelback Mountain which is right in Paradise Valley and the Scottsdale area in Phoenix.....It's about an hour climb up and another hour back down..... A lot of fun....A little strenuous so take a lot of water...

I have a friend from in Phoenix and I visit her there every spring.....Camelback is one of my favorite things to do.....It's also neat to hike up one side and down the other... The only drawback is you have to walk back to your car which is another 45 minutes..... Shelley :) |

There are only 2.....There is the Choila (spelling) Trail and the Echo Canyon Trail....It really just depends on who you ask as to which one is the easiest of the two.....The Choila Trail is more pathlike at the beginning but I think gets a little trickier towards the top.....Both sides have certain points where you have to use your hands ......I like the Echo Canyon Trail the best simply because it's easier to access (there is a parking lot for it) and because it seems to be more populated (I like to stick with the crowd)....To hike the Choila trail you need to park on the street and walk a few blocks to the trailhead....I think both are pretty equal as far as difficulty goes.....I am not an experienced hiker either and have climbed both sides.....I have also seen kids as young as 8 years old climb it.....It's a good workout but it's nothing dangerous or anything like that.....Just take plenty of water because it can get pretty hot in Phoenix!!!......You can also google it and there is a web page with more info.....Good luck and have fun...
