Vista compatible disc authoring/burning software w/option to add sub menus?
Hopefully this will be the last thing I'll need! :)
Can anyone recommend any Vista compatible disc authoring/burning software which gives you the option to add sub menus? (say, 2 one hour videos on a DVD+R/RW where I can go in and place chapters in each video). Windows DVD Maker that comes with my new tower doesn't let you change the set menu times and I used to use ULead DMF3 when I had XP but it doesn't work on my new tower and I know ULead claim the newest DMF's are Vista compatible but reviews I've read in Google searches about the newest DMF's seem to doubt this claim and I just spent the little $ I did have on a new tower, this one: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/HP-Pa...tured+Item+Mod ...and I don't want to gamble on the new DMF working if there are doubts about it, so please post any ideas here, maybe the specs of the tower will make it easier to know what will work for me. As long as the software does the above I'm happy. There may be free tools I could use but they seem rather cumbersome and because I'm a newbie at this I don't mind paying for it as long as it does the above (just simple regular menus, not motion or anything, as long as I can title the sub menus) and it does the demuxing or whatever in the background for me etc. I'll scrape together some $ for that! :) Thanks in advance for the replies. :) John |
I used Nero 7 to make a DVD with menus once .... but the damn thing took 18 hours to burn to a disk ... :o maybe it's just my slow computer or something, but that's been my only experience of DVD-making.
