TITN picture

Hi there!!!!!!!!!!!
I've always loved TITN cover and I wanted to put it as my desktop background in my computer but all the pics I've found in the internet have a very bad quality.
does anyone know where I can found a good quality one? (I mean, not only big but one who has the actual colours).

Thank you!!! :D

...Or not. My dinosaur of a scanner hates me. Sorry about that, I'll see if I can find one surfing around.

I also tried to fit the LP in the scanner, but it would be: "computer says nooo". I love than show! hahhahaha

The TITN cover is based on the Henri Rousseau painting "The Snake Charmer", if you do a Google image search you'll find several pictures that are big enough to use as a desktop background. Another beautiful painting by Rousseau is "The Dream", it also resembles the TITN cover and I've used it as a background myself for a while.

By the way, does anybody know why they (or some member) chose it for the cover? Are they friends of Brett-Livingstone Strong (the artist), or they just liked it, or what?

it seems that Brett Livingstone Strong was one day hanging out at Lindsey Buckingham's house on the hill and they were talking about Henri Rousseau's paintings.
What I don't remember is if Lindsey told Livingstone to paint the picture on purpose or he was amazed by the painter's talent and decided to put it as the cover.
I think it really matches the album.

LB studied art in college so he's very fond of it. it is obvious when he talks about music, he's got a very pictorical sense of it, he always makes references to canvas and colours.

by the way, does anybody know why is the TITN album dedicated to Judy Wong? I know she died, but was it at that time so the album is dedicated to her? I think she didn't die until some years later, but maybe I'm wrong.

As attractive as the cover art is, I was and remain disappointed by it. I remember at the time wishing they had chosen something either more oddball (like the white Fleetwood Mac album) or edgier (like Tusk). Something with more band-specific personality. The photo of the band on the center of the original album disc (the full-color one, not that back of the sleeve) would have made a GREAT cover.

Still the image itself is lovely and I have occasionally found myself staring at in wonder...

Judy died just a few years ago. I don't know the answer to your question though.
