Lindsey leaving

Didn't know to post this in Stevie's forum or the Rumours, since my first thoughts were abut Stevie's hair (()), but the interview is interesting, speciall Stevie's and John's words..
This confirms Mick's book was not far from the truth. Fortunately S&L are friends again.

This is from a BBC series called Rock Family Trees, the episode featuring the Mac was shown in 1995 I think, so they hadn't all kissed and made up by that point and Stevie was yet to have her Dance makeover!

John's face is priceless.

But I think that they will kill each other after the band will call it day

Everytime I watch this video I imagine the following picture: stevie and lindsey trying to choke each other in front of everybody, looking in each others eyes...electric sparks. then she running away, with her dress and scarf floating...very Catherine and Heathcliff. But he can't kill her...

Although the video is so dramatic, the fact is that some parts are hillarious. John saying: but what I ment was...why don't you just leave the room?
or Stevie: my father and my brother will kill you (sounds like a mafia thing...La famiglia Nicks).

Well at least it would give Chris Nicks something useful to do...

Oh, look out, y'all. Chris Nicks is comin' for ya.

What's even better is when she's sitting there with her usual dazed look, her mop of hair a veritable Disneyland for the insect world, & she says something like, "The guitarists all go nuts, but Chris & I are stable & grounded."

Stevie's about as grounded as an orbiting bolide.

nailatixela 12-31-2008 02:47 PM

What year was this video? This is the only time I've seen Stevie's hair like this.

I have always appreciated how while Stevie is saying "He ended up chasing me all the way out of Christine's maze-like house", they show the video of Lindsey ominously whisking down the long hallway.

And yet, in spite of Stevie's "out-thereness", she still manages to be the very model of sanity when compared to the guitarists in Fleetwood Mac.

Oh to have been walking down the street on that day! Can you imagine seeing Stevie running down the street cursing while Lindsey is chasing her ready to kill her? haha. I love this band!:D

BTW, what were all the British people doing when all this is going down? Sipping tea?

And watching from the window of Christine's maze.

I love Stevie's ridiculous hair!
I also love John's "dramatic re-enactment" of the fight:laugh:
