Boy, that recording brings back memories. I didn't attend, but that was one of the first vinyl bootlegs I ever bought. It was always labeled August 25, but the band played two nights at the Aladdin, & this recording could be the 25th or the 26th.

The missing MONDAY MORNING never showed up anywhere in all these years.

P.S. Another great recording (even better than this one) on vinyl from the old days was the Cotton Bowl gig in Dallas, 1978. Incomplete recording, but outstanding sound quality -- just about my favorite of the non-soundboard concerts.

This live bootleg LP, along with the Almanac LP, were the first bootleg records I ever got. I still remember paying $25 for both of them, I think, in the late 70's. For me, back then, it was a ton of money, but there were the best boots I've ever bought. Little did I know back then...

The live show has the best version of Rhiannon I've ever heard, either at a show or from a boot. Stevie shreds it to pieces. When I heard it the first time, I was transfixed. I thought that that version was the standard for her live performances, but I've never heard another version with those amazing, amazing vocals.

Somewhere I got the a CD version a few years back, with Monday Morning. I'd be happy to send the first 3 people who ask for it a copy, and then maybe they can pass it along. That's what we do on another board that I post on.

Also, if you have the show and just want Monday Morning, I can send along an MP3 file of just that song. Just send me your email address.

Maybe upload it to rapidshare? I don't generally touch bootlegs but if you want to send me a copy then I can pop it up on the blog for all to download. http://fleetwoodmacmusic.blogspot.com/ Email me at [email protected] if you want to do that...

Chris :)

It's a torrent file, hon. You need a torrent downloader to get it. I use BitLord, http://www.bitlord.com/download.php Open the file in BitLord and the download should start. :D

fleetwoodtrick 01-10-2009 05:20 PM

Thanks for the suggestion, I do have uTorrent but after I downloaded it, it's stil all text files. :( The Christine McVie Concert did whatever it was supposed to.

Oh, hmm. That's weird. I can't get the torrent file to try it on my end, the site isn't taking new members. Sorry! :distress:

fleetwoodtrick 01-10-2009 05:26 PM

Wow, that's weird too, I joined yesterday. :/ Maybe the site is having difficulties or something...?

I tried opening the text files too, but my computer couldn't open them cuz they're in a format I've never even heard of. (Which I suppose isn't that rare...)

Estranged4life, how did you download this?

You should have .shn files if you downloaded the torrent, those are the audio files. SHN is just another lossless format like flac or wav.

fleetwoodtrick 01-10-2009 07:27 PM

Is there anyway to convert them? My computer can't play them. I tried converting them in dBpoweramp, and even after I downloaded Codec, they won't convert. >.< I'm having a hard time here! But then again, I'm rather new to torrents.
Thank you for the help!
