I have noticed that Lindsey's website has been down for a few days. Either that or I just can't get on it.
I wonder if it is a server issue or if his site is going to be revamped?

You might want to ask via LB's Myspace, as they've been logged in as recently as today, and (I'm guessing) are aware of it.

I saw this and thought that it was just me. I noticed that the sight is back to the way it was around UtS (in terms of the song-playing-thingy) and there has been something that has said "Coming Soon" for so long. Oh, and I don't think that GoS was added to the discography. Maybe they'll redo it.

Did you try e-mailing "them"?

This website proves that the theory of "if only one of (artist's) biggest fans controlled their official website, everything would be fan-friendly and up-to-date!" doesn't always prove out to be the case. Lack of content is one thing (and can be a legal thing, as we've seen with WBR's internet activity/threats of litigation recently), but lack of updates/archaic & false information is laziness, pure and simple.

That said, "they" do a damned good job of copying/pasting press releases, though- gots to give "them" that.

IMO a "lack of updates/archaic & false information is laziness, pure and simple" is never acceptable on an official site. Remaining so during a TOUR? Brainless.

Site hasn't been updated since Mid-March. With the recent cancellation and all these new tour dates, gee, wouldn't you think its about time to spend five minutes to update the damned site?

The lyrics for Gift of Screws aren't on there either and I don't think there were any pictures of that tour or any news updates for that or the Unleashed Mac stuff. Poor promotion if you ask me.

But didn't his wife take tons of pics during many of the Gift of Screws shows? I would think they could use those. That's weird about the lyrics.:shrug:

Some people aren't all that technologically savvy or invested, and sometimes there are just too many other stresses to focus on. I had to run a work-related website for a few years and it was a pain to be honest.

But Lindsey isn't that bad. I was looking at the Wallflowers' official site and they haven't updated since last summer. Meanwhile, there's a greatest hits album/tour with tix already on sale- and not one date mentioned on this site. Pathetic.:o

Is the Wallflowers' official site run by someone who was selected under the guise that they were one of the Wallflowers' absolute greatest fans?

It's a f*cking joke, and there's no excuse. Unfortunately, I can't say I'm all that surprised, either.

I honestly have no clue. I just went there once or twice before. I'm not really a frequenter of official sites, but seeing as the tour dates are purportedly already being announced here and there, I took a look. It's not a very good site at all. And there's not much of a discussion forum. It's probably about 8 people just posting back and forth.:distress:

Lindsey's official website is a masterpiece by comparison.
