Dancing Again live in San Fran set on eBay
|
Isn't that just a nicely put together bootleg though?

It is actually from Irvine, CA (I am from Germany, so I'm not really sure if Irvine counts to San Francisco, like Rosemont and Tinley Parkare listed as Chicago), but yeah, along with the Silver Springs single and the fact that it is a not a CD-R, I would pay $18 for it. Defenitly not more.
But yeah, this one is a nice example of a eBay bootleg seller (they all will go to hell anyways) that at least show that you can sell quality bootlegs on ebay. Most of them sell CD-R with a poorly printed cover. |
Just an FYI
Irvine, CA is about a 6 hour drive from SF. Fleetwood Mac played 2 shows at the Shoreline Amphitheater on the Dance tour. That venue is in Mountain Veiw, which is in the San Francisco Bay Area (about a 45 minute drive from SF) and could reasonably be considered "San Francisco". I wouldn't want anyone to buy the show called "San Francisco" and think they were getting the Shoreline show when they're actually getting the Irvine show. Just so no one is surprised/disappointed. For a bootleg, it is a beautifully put together package. I don't think I've seen that photo of them on the back of the insert, and that front cover would be nice for a Dance re-release. The only thing- I guess its the angle, but Stevie has a funky shape going on in the photo on the back.
That Silver Springs single is sweet- was it promo only? Theres no barcode, so I guess it was. |

This is indeed one of the Irvine Meadows concerts, which was broadcast nationally on the Westwood One Radio Network (with J.J. Jackson announcing in the DJ slot). The very first broadcast of this show contained more material than subsequent broadcasts. It looks as if this bootleg contains the "full" broadcast (which included OH DADDY). Subsequent broadcasts were available for a time on radio station CDs (2-CD sets), but several songs were cut.
The Mountain View Shoreline Amp show in circulation is an audience recording -- taped in fact by the same man who taped the Oakland Coliseum show from 1982. He sent his Mountain View recording to Kip Lupton, whom I got it from when I visited Kip for his birthday party. |
Someone years ago...
sent me a free copy which contained very well done artwork and packaging, and disc #2 contained the medley FM performed at the Grammys when "The Dance" was up for an award.
Just a broadcast that was bootlegged into circulation is all... |
