Stevie and Meg Ryan?
 

In the TISL linear booklet, in the back when Stevie lists all of the people she wants to thank, she has Meg Ryan listed. How in the world does Stevie know Meg Ryan? They must be pretty close for Stevie to be thanking her in the booklet. I do think it's pretty damn cool tho.

I don't know about Meg Ryan, but I think Rosanna Arquette and Laura Dern are thanked also, because they were in the studio with Stevie and convinced her to include an extra verse in one song. I forgot which one.

I think it was Bombay Sapphires. The verse about "I can see past you - to the white sand..." or it was from TISL, not sure.

I was thinking it was from Fall From Grace. The producer thought it was too wordy and needed to be pared down and Stevie was having a hard time with that. The group of celebs that were there (they had came with Sheryl Crow I think??) liked the song and convinced them to leave all the words in...or something along those lines.

I remember LB was there and Stevie saying something to the effect of "see you should come to my sessions more often"...
